AIM Literary Festival
2025, UK

1st October - 5th October

The AIM Literary Festival is a visionary initiative by Author In Me Publishing, an award-winning small press renowned for publishing thought-provoking and transformational stories set against global backdrops.

Founded by Monica Sood and Ekta Bajaj, the festival celebrates the transformative power of storytelling to empower, connect, and inspire. It serves as a unique platform where voices from all walks of life—emerging writers, acclaimed authors, and young storytellers—come together to honour literature, exchange ideas, and inspire future generations.

Entering its sixth year in 2025, the festival has grown from a modest two-hour online event into a vibrant week-long celebration of storytelling, cultural diversity, and knowledge exchange. Held every October, it champions creativity, diverse narratives, and transformative ideas, uniting authors, industry professionals, and readers for an enriching literary experience.

Our Vision
The festival is built around three core values

Celebrating Diversity: Highlighting voices from varied cultural, social, and literary backgrounds.

Inspiring Future Generations: Encouraging young writers and readers to explore storytelling as a form of creative expression.

Fostering Connection: Bringing communities together through shared narratives, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.

AIM Literary Festival 2025 Theme:
Challenge your Choices

Every story begins with a choice.

A word spoken or left unsaid. A path taken or refused. A truth confronted or buried.

In 2025, AIM Literary Festival invites readers, writers, and changemakers to explore the power and consequence of decision-making through its bold new theme: Challenge Your Choices.

This year, we delve into the turning points that shape lives and legacies — the quiet decisions that ripple across generations, and the brave choices that redefine who we are.

Through fiction and memoir, poetry and performance, we ask: What does it mean to choose? And what happens when we dare to choose differently?

But this theme doesn’t speak to writers alone — it calls on readers to challenge their own reading choices. To venture beyond the familiar shelves. To seek out stories that discomfort, expand, and transform. To embrace unfamiliar voices, fresh perspectives, and genres yet unexplored.

This is your invitation to write, read, and live with intention.
Challenge the expected. Embrace the unknown. And above all, Challenge Your Choices.

Testimonials

“I was delighted to be a part of the AIM festival at the iconic British Library as part of the Books to Movies panel. This festival has captured so many diverse voices in the literary sphere, and is evidently growing from strength to strength. Congratulations to the whole team for creating this space, which I hope will continue to grow UK wide.."
