Submit for StoryGarden
Building on our dedication to celebrating diverse voices in literature, we are excited to announce the return of StoryGarden Bookshelf at the 2025 AIM Literary Festival. First launched in 2023, StoryGarden brought together over 300 contributors—spanning bestselling and emerging authors—and featured works from leading publishers like Bloomsbury and Jacaranda, representing an extraordinary array of cultural perspectives.
Aligning with this year’s theme, submit your books to be showcased. If listed with Gardners, our partner bookstores will manage coordination, and the books can be sold throughout the festival week.
Selected authors will get:
Speaking Opportunity to share their journey with a dedicated 7-minute slot in front of a diverse audience of authors, reviewers, and BookTok influencers.
Website Listing to feature their book on the festival’s official website for enhanced visibility.
Story Writing Competition

The Story-Writing Competition, part of the AIM Literary Festival 2024, inspires young writers to explore creativity through fictional stories based on personal experiences. This initiative is to promote reading and writing for joy in Children.
Theme: An Experience from Your Life—short fictional stories inspired by personal experiences (friendship, pets, loved ones, school life, adventure, holidays, or any meaningful life moment).
Word Limit: 600 words
Age Range: 7–15 years
Submissions close on 28th March 2025

Winning 50 Stories will be published in an anthology showcasing young talent. The anthology will be featured at the 6th Annual AIM Literary Festival 2025, which will take place on October 5th at the Roald Dahl Museum.
